Bottom-up investing is an equity investment strategy in which the investor focuses on individual stocks instead of looking at overall markets or specific industries.

Bottom-up investing focuses on giving weightage to specific business fundamentals instead of on factors like macroeconomics, industry tail/headwinds, and market cycles.
