Fixed Income

Fixed income is a form of investment that offers fixed payments as interest or dividends regularly until maturity. Fixed Income instruments provide a steady income stream and are less volatile than stocks. Hence they are the instruments of choice for regular income during retirement.

Some examples of Fixed Income instruments are treasury, municipal, agency, corporate bonds, C.D.s, and money market funds.
